Savage Hostel in Koh Tao offers a blend of comfort and functionality that's appealing for both budget-conscious travelers and those seeking a bit of luxury. The dormitory pods, equipped with curtains for privacy, provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. Coupled with a superb location just steps from Sairee Beach, it’s an excellent base for beach activities. The common areas, including a lovely sun terrace and a pool, created social opportunities while still offering quiet corners for relaxation. Facilities like a mini fridge and well-maintained bathrooms enhanced the overall value. I particularly enjoyed the free water refill stations and decent Wi-Fi, practical for casual travelers. Housekeeping was reliable; rooms were cleaned daily, ensuring a tidy environment. The friendly staff added a personalized touch, guiding guests with local insights, which is invaluable in a tourist haven like this. While earplugs are advisable due to the hostel atmosphere, the overall experience balanced comfort and cost effectively. In my view, Savage Hostel becomes a top choice for adventurers; it reflects both luxury in its amenities and great value for money. If you're heading to Koh Tao, it’s worth considering.
